Why did we choose "Frogs for Life" as our name?
Tommy's favorite toy was his green frog WubbaNub. Since we lost him, every time we see frogs, we think of our little boy. We wanted our nonprofit to be about life and so "Frogs for Life" was born. Frogs and green hearts are a theme in our lives.
100% of donations go to help children and families
Our expenses are minimal and covered by us. 100% of all donations are used to help the children and families struggling with CHD.
What is CHD?
A congenital heart defect (CHD) is a problem with the structure of the heart. It is present at birth. Congenital heart defects are the most common type of birth defect. The defects can involve the walls of the heart, the valves of the heart, and the arteries and veins near the heart.
501(c)(3) status
Frogs for Life is an official 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
What is a PICU?
A Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) provides life-saving treatments, using state-of-the-art technologies, to monitor and look after children with a wide range of illnesses.
